First Practice
So I practiced today for over an hour because I wasn't allowed back into my room by one of my roommates, which is all good. I played on the keyboards for a while and decided to move over to the Grand Piano in the room next door. I played the Fur Elise and another piece I know and I think they both sounded really well, but I still need to perfect the other piece's sixteenth note movements. I also spent some time touching up on parts of the Fur Elise that I'm not always on point with. Eventually one of the Activities Desk people came down and asked me for my ID to stay there so I just left instead. Overall it was time well spent.

Hopefully your roommates will kick you out all the time :) Just kidding. Did you feel a difference between playing on the piano lab keyboards and the baby grand? You can really feel the weight of the keys on a real piano.
ReplyDeleteYeah, sometimes I don't even press the keys on the keyboard 'cause they're so light that I thought I got it. I just thought everything sounded better overall on the baby grand.
